Range HQ

Terms of Service

Version 2026-07-02 · Last updated July 2, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating a Range HQ account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting on behalf of a club or federation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. The service

Range HQ provides a personal shooting journal, club/federation membership management, and competition scoring tools. Features and availability may change as the product evolves.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be old enough to lawfully consent to data processing under the law of your country to create an account directly; junior members are added by their club under parental consent arrangements once that feature is available.

4. Club & competition data

If you administer a club or federation on Range HQ, you are the data controller for your roster, membership, and competition records, and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and display that data (including any real-name display on public leaderboards). Range HQ acts as your data processor under the terms described in our subprocessor and data processing summary.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Range HQ to store or share data you don't have the right to hold, to harass other users, or to attempt to bypass the platform's security or tenant-isolation controls.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the journal entries, photos, and other content you upload. You grant Range HQ a licence to store and display it back to you (and, where you choose to make it public — e.g. an opted-in leaderboard — to other users) solely to operate the service.

7. Data rights & deletion

You can export or delete your personal data at any time from Profile → Privacy & Data — see our Privacy Policy for full detail on what is deleted immediately versus anonymised to preserve competition records.

8. Termination

You may stop using Range HQ at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

9. Disclaimers & liability

Range HQ is provided "as is". Scoring and target-analysis features are aids to your own record-keeping and are not a substitute for official competition adjudication. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Range HQ is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.

11. Changes

We'll update the version date above whenever these Terms change materially, and ask signed-in users to re-confirm they've read them.
